Obituary of J. E. Beavers

J. E. Beavers, age 91, of Idabel passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 10, 1920 in Lebanon, OK. He was a rancher. He enjoyed hunting and was a die hard coon hunter. J.E. was a loving father and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He attended the Spirit Rock Church in Millerton, OK and was a life time resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Katherine Beavers; parents, Ezra and Oatie Beavers; sisters, Latreva Crutcher, Tosca Wilson, and Janice Whisenhunt; and a brother, Joe Bean. J. E. is survived by his sons and daughters-in-aw, Bo and Sharon Beavers of Henderson, Texas and Frank and Cathy Beavers of Idabel; daughter, DeWina Beavers Sullivan of Idabel; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Denison Cemetery with Rev. Troy Ruffin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the White Family Funeral Home.
