Obituary of Sarah Ann Perez Silva

Sarah Ann Perez Silva, age 51 of DeQueen, AR passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Texarkana, Texas. She was born August 12, 1960 in Hollandale, MS. Sarah worked at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in DeQueen, AR. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Sarah was very devoted to her whole family. She was a member of the St. Barbara Catholic Church and had lived in DeQueen for 25 years moving from Idabel. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Perez Sr.; and her grandfather, Pete Perez. Sarah is survived by her mother, Lupe Bridges of Idabel; her daughter, Linda Perez of DeQueen, AR; grandchildren, Marissa Perez, Chris Perez, Whitney Austin and Jayden Downs, all of DeQueen, AR; a great-granddaughter, Surie White of DeQueen, AR; brother, Manuel Perez of Idabel; sister, Patsy Ponce of DeQueen, AR; nieces, Rosenda Perez and Leticia Aguilar, both of DeQueen, AR; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the St. Barbara Catholic Church in DeQueen, AR. Interment will follow at Canfield Cemetery in Idabel. The Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the St. Barbara Catholic Church in DeQueen, AR. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2011 at the funeral home in Idabel.
