Obituary of David Peters

David Peters, age 44 of the Moon Community, OK passed away on Friday, September 23, 2011. He was born on September 6, 1967 in Idabel, OK. David married Matilda Spradlin on February 2, 1992 in Idabel, OK. David was a 1985 graduate of Idabel High School. He enjoyed baseball, hunting and fishing. David was a loving father, husband, son and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, Ned Peters; paternal grandparents, Ira and Lorene Peters; maternal grandfather, Jesse Johnson; and several aunts and uncles. David leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Joyce Peters of Idabel; his wife, Matilda Peters of the Moon Community; son, Cody Lynn Peters of Idabel; his daughter, Lacey Nicole Peters of Idabel; maternal grandmother, Ella Johnson of Idabel; brothers, Randy Peters, Kenneth Peters, John Peters and Mike Peters all of Idabel; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and many friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the White Family Chapel with Bro. Doug Clements officiating. Interment will follow at Canfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the funeral home.
