Obituary of Chad Vaughn

Martin Chadwick Vaughn, “Chad”, was born on September 21, 1973 in Hugo, OK. Chad passed from this life on Sunday, September 4, 2011. Chad was big in stature, with a larger than life personality, smile and two of the biggest dimples you have ever seen. He loved life and he enjoyed it to the fullest. Chad loved hunting, fishing with his Dad, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He also knew that every day, well almost every day, there would be something good to eat at Mom’s…so that stop was a must. If she didn’t have something cooked, he would make sure he gave her a big Bear Hug, and scratch her with his whiskers!!! Everyone who knew Chad well, knew he was always working on something and most of the time it was one of his vehicles. He enjoyed camping with Ted and Paul and all of their friends. Chad worked for Tri-Lakes, at the Valliant mill for the past 5 years. He will be missed so much by all of his family, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Teddy and Mattie Vaughn, and LB and Maxine Renfro. Chad leaves to cherish his memory, Lucretia McDonald of the home, Kyson and Cameron McDonald of Idabel; his parents, Martin and Kay Vaughn of Idabel; brothers, Ted Vaughn and Paul Vaughn both of Valliant; nephews, Brantley Vaughn of Ada, OK and Dusty Vaughn of Valliant; a niece, Brooklyn Vaughn of Valliant; a great-niece, Landry Vaughn of Millerton; and a great-nephew, Jagger Vaughn of Ada, OK; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the White Family Chapel with Brad Raney officiating. Interment will follow at Denison Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the funeral home.
