Obituary of James Joiner

James Patrick Joiner, age 54, of Idabel passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 10, 2011. He was born on October 16, 1956 in Arcata, CA. Jamie was a truck driver. For the last several years Jamie called bingo at the American Legion and was very well liked by the players. Jamie enjoyed playing dominoes and throwing darts. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil “Bitty Son” Joiner. Jamie is survived by his mother, Edna Joiner of Idabel; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Blake Foshee of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Blake T. Foshee and Brooklyn Foshee of Broken Bow; sisters and brother-in-law, Cecelia Wilson of Idabel, Becky and John Wooley of Idabel and Phyllis Brantley of Eagletown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary Joiner and Lorie of Millerton, Dennis and Alta Joiner of Haworth, Mike and Vicki Joiner of Idabel and Steve “Babe” Joiner of Haworth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved dog, “Little Bit”. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Eagletown Assembly of God Church with Bro. Greg Matlock officiating. Interment will follow in Eagletown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
