Obituary of Helen Mitchell

Helen Mitchell, 88, of Idabel, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Idabel. She was born July 16, 1918 in Columbus, Arkansas, the daughter of Ollice and Oppie Nelson Mitchell. Helen was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking and sewing for her family. She was a faithful member of the Pollard Missionary Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bacil Holloway, and Joe Mitchell; and 4 brothers and sisters. Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Diane Holloway of Rockwall, Texas; grandchildren and spouses, Mark and Kim Holloway of Mesquite, Texas, and DeAnn and Kenneth Barnwell of College Station, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jaclyn Baker of Watauga, Texas, Jessica Conway of Keller, Texas, and Kyle Wilson of Mesquite, Texas; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister Nan Milsap of Hot Springs, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
