Obituary of Carol Hill

Carol M. Hill, 62, of Broken Bow passed away Friday, January 26, 2007 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 23, 1944 in Broken Bow, the daughter of Fred and Lorene Moore Mims. Carol married Jerry Hill on April 16, 1971 in Idabel. Carol worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services as a secretary and retired after 29 years of service. She was an avid Barbie doll collector and enjoyed going to the casino. Carol was a member of the Broken Bow First Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carol is survived by her husband, Jerry Hill of Broken Bow; aunt and uncle, Dorothy and William Christian of Dallas; cousins, Col. (Ret) and Mrs John E. Stice of Huntsville, Texas, Don Newton of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Mack Newton of Ashdown, Arkansas and the Stewart's of the Holly Creek Community; a very special friend, Barbara Marshall of Dallas; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
