Obituary of Mavis Hammer

Mavis Pauline Westley Hammer, 66, of Clarksville, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010 in Clarksville. She was born September 6, 1943 in Wolverhampton, England, the daughter of Edmund and Mary Doreen Westley. Mavis loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time in her yard and loved her animals. If it could be done outside, she loved it. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Beryl Stone, brother-in-law, Leslie Smith, and mother-in-law, Bonnie Faye Hammer. Mavis is survived by her husband, Paul Hammer of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Teresa Harper; daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Wade Steaveson; sisters, Angela Smith and Janice Westley; sisters-in-law, Shirley and Ricky Whiteman and Patsy and Mike Cox; father-in-law, Bill Hammer; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Robin and Vic Marks; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Tim and Erin Hammer; grandchildren, Dalton and Michael Harper, Jaden Steaveson, Pierce and Cole Hammer, Melissa Tucker and Samantha Ferguson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
