Obituary of Brandon Williston

Brandon K. “Smiley” Williston, 27, of Catoosa passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Catoosa. He was born on October 28, 1982 in Talihina, OK. He attended Idabel Public Schools for most of his school years before moving to Nowata, OK where he graduated high school. Brandon was a carpet installer and was co-owner of Two Feathers Carpet in Claremore, OK. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Brandon was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and was a fan of Gospel Music. Brandon was very proud of his Indian Heritage. He was dedicated to his family and loved family gatherings, where he could spend time with them. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Williston Sr.; paternal great-grandparents, Tobias and Rosa Williston, Jowicks Tonihka and Fannie Going Hall. Brandon is survived by his mother, Marylin Rose Campbell and her husband Kyle; his daughter, Marina Williston of Catoosa; sister, Robyn Campbell and her fiancé, Don Rhea of Mt. Pleasant, TX; half brother, Ricky Parks of Haworth; maternal grandmother, Mary Williston of Idabel; paternal grandparents, V.R. and Mary Campbell of Sapulpa, OK, and Hazel Hall of Mt. Pleasant, TX; nephew, Slade Stand of Mt. Pleasant, TX; nieces, Izabelle Coleman of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Kaylynn Rhea and Chaylynn Rhea both of Idabel; uncles, Morris Williston of Haworth, David Williston of Idabel and James Williston Sr. of New Boston, TX; aunts, Betty and Bob Maye of Idabel, Sharon and William Young of Haworth, Gloria and Jim Grant and Kathy Williston all of Idabel; several cousins, many other relatives and friends.
