Obituary of Virginia Owens

Virginia F. Owens, 84 of Poteau, passed away April 13, 2010 at Poteau. She was born November 12, 1925 at Avery, Texas, the daughter of Ernie and Iva Webb. She was retired from Kiamichi Vo-Tech School in Hugo, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ernie and Iva Webb; husband, Brack Owens; son, Johnny Owens; brother, Billy Joe Webb; and grandson, Steven J. Pickle. Virginia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Samuel Pickle of Poteau; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Sue Owens of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Holly Warners of Eagle River, AK, David Pickle and wife, Jennifer of Poteau, Ashlee Kirkwood and husband, Andy of Texarkana, TX, Kyle Brack Owens of Texarkana, TX, Tammy Songer and husband, John of Hugo, OK, William Owens and wife, Ellie of McAlester, OK; granddaughter-in-law, Susan Pickle of DeKalb, TX; brothers, Earnest Webb of Farmington, NM, Jimmy Webb of Aztec, NM and Howard Webb of Foreman, AR; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
