Obituary of Linda Gilley

Linda Gilley, 57 of Idabel passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Idabel. She was born December 7, 1952 in Hutchison, KS, the daughter of A.D. and Virginia Brown Gilley. She was a certified nursing assistant. Linda worked several years for Dr. Herron’s office as well as various other health care providers. She was very kind to the patients and really enjoyed her work. Linda enjoyed fishing, cooking and keeping up with friends by talking on the phone. She loved spending time with her family always putting them first. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark Gilley; and a sister, Vicki McDaniel. Linda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Darcee Shankles of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Dillan Shankles, Hunter Osborne, Savannah Osborne and Wyatt Elder; brother, Dennis Gilley of Ardmore, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Tommy Tapley of Haworth; special friends, Sandy Brewer and her family, and Dave Scharnhorst all of Idabel; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
