Obituary of Alyssa Hope Houchin

Alyssa Hope Houchin, age 3 of the Herndon Community, passed away February 18, 2010. She was born January 12, 2007 at Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Victoria Lee Messer Houchin and Raymond Houchin. A delight in everyone’s eyes, Alyssa was a smart little girl who had a beautiful smile, beautiful eyes, bright personality and a loving heart. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Johnny Messer and cousin, Christopher Jones. Alyssa is survived by her father, Raymond Houchin of the Herndon Community; mother, Victoria Houchin and Anthony James of North Carolina; brothers, Curtis James Houchin and Kenneth Raymond Houchin both of the Herndon Community; sister, Marianne Elizabeth Messer or North Carolina; grandparents, Robert and Marilyn Houchin of Wright City, Anne Ruth James of North Carolina; aunts and uncles, Billie Joe and Donald Barnett, Sheila Jeannette Truman and Lavonda Lynn “Aunt Dummy” Jenkins; numerous cousins, other relatives and family friends.
