Obituary of Louellon Jones

Louellon Jones, 89 of Idabel, passed away February 16, 2010 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born November 7, 1920 at Washington, Arkansas, the daughter of Boone and Lutie Finley Hudspeth. Louellon was a secretary for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and lived her lifetime in Idabel. She enjoyed the simple things in life like reading a book on the shore while her husband would fish, spending time with her children and grandchildren and going to gospel singings. She was a faithful member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Jones, Sr.; parents, Boone and Lutie Hudspeth; grandson, Cary Pugh; sisters, LeFlore Davis, Madge Barnett and Jo Wilma Anderson. Louellon is survived by her son, Charley Jones, Jr. of Sacramento, California; daughter, Caroline Jones of Idabel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sonny and Geneva Hudspeth of Idabel and James and Hilda Hudspeth of Woodsboro, Texas; grandchildren, Paul Kevin Jones, Jerry Pugh, Larry Pugh; great-grandchildren, Shaina Hampton, Crystal Pugh, Wendy Pugh, Jamie Pugh, Kayla Pugh, Joshua Jones; great-great-grandchildren, Slade Coleman, Cayman Hampton, Haylee Wilkerson, Kamarah Boswell, Katelyn Smith, Gage Smith, Havin Smith, Destini Pugh; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
