Obituary of Doris Scroggins

Doris Williams-Scroggins, 89 of Idabel, passed away January 13, 2010 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was born September 16th, 1920 at Haworth, Oklahoma (Willow Springs Community) the daughter of Scott and Era Williams. Doris retired from a long career at Boeing Corporation of Texarkana, Arkansas and was a resident of the Harris community for several years before moving to Idabel. Most recently she was a resident of Colonial Lodge. She was a member of the Idabel First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Faye Scroggins; parents, Scott and Era Williams; brothers, Fred Milton Williams, Perry Williams and Med Williams; sisters, Bernard Harcrow and Bettie Austin. Doris is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Dee Storey of the Pleasant Hill Community, Sue and Tom Kennedy of Idabel, Linda and Sonny Whitten of Idabel; one sister in-law, Mrs. Pat Williams of Broken Bow. She was greatly loved and will be forever remembered by a multitude of nephews and nieces as our one and only "Auntie!"
