Obituary of Eleanor Endsley

Eleanor Endsley, 87, of Millerton, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Idabel. She was born September 8, 1922 in Roxton, TX, the daughter of Purvin Landy and Ollie Mae Layton Keeling. Eleanor was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. She worked as a home health provider for several years. Eleanor enjoyed yard work and gardening. She was a member of the Garvin Church of Christ and was a lifetime resident of the area. Eleanor was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was very devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Woodrow Wilson Endsley; grandchildren, Mikey Lynn Endsley, Billy Wayne Endsley, Donald Reece, Chance Allen Endsley and Stephanie Kay Endsley; and 2 brothers, John Keeling and T.W. Keeling. Eleanor is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Martha Endsley of Garvin, Thomas Wayne and Linda Fay Endsley of Millerton, Donald Woodrow and Ruth Ann Endsley of Garvin, Steve and Vivian Endsley, and Terry and Wanda Endsley all of Millerton; a daughter, Alice Boyd of Oklahoma City; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
