Obituary of Eutive Huckabee Jordan

Eutive Huckabee Jordan, age 91, of Idabel passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009 at her residence. She was born March 13, 1918 in Center point, AR, the daughter of W.W. and Ola Dossey Womack. Eutive was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for friends and family, sewing, taking care of her yard and eating and visiting with her friends at the Idabel Nutrition Center. She loved bible studies and was a member of the By-Pass Church of Christ. Eutive was a devoted mother, grandmother and always put her family first. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Olen Huckabee; son-in-law, Larry Dane; sisters, Charlene Canant, Dorothy Jean Taylor and Patsy Murphy; and a brother, Hugh Womack. Eutive is survived by her son, Wayne Huckabee and wife, Tam of Houston, TX; daughters, Gloria Dane Logan and husband Dick of Idabel, Nancy Lyndon and husband Bob of Plano, TX; granddaughters, Regina Prim and Rusty of Plano, TX, Andrea Williamson and Dane of Idabel, Leigh Rapier and Casey of Durant, and Lindsay Dane of Durant; brother, Bill Womack and wife, Dortha Wayne of Idabel; a brother-in-law, Mike Murphy of Idabel; 4 great-grandsons; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
