Obituary of Marie Jamerson

Marie Jamerson, age 82, of Garvin passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at her residence. She was born January 13, 1927 in the Wheelock Community, the daughter of Hershel and Sarah Annie Garland Haynie. Marie was a homemaker, and loved family gatherings where she could spend time with her family. Marie enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buster Jamerson; a daughter and son-in-law, Travis and Betty Bastible; grandson, Jamie Don Gammon; great-grandchildren, Jordan Harrington and Blake Bastible; and 6 brothers. Marie leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Sarah Jamerson, Alvin and Tammy Jamerson, Curtis and Becky Jamerson, and Danny Jamerson all of Garvin; daughters and sons-in-law, Lenora and Jimmy Dempsey of Valliant, and Jessie and Don Gammon of Broken Bow; brothers and sister-in-law, Roger Haynie of Valliant, and Don and Maureen Haynie of Garvin; a sister, Ross Helmer of Montana; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
