Obituary of Wilda Storey Forbit

Wilda Joann Storey Forbit, 71, of Broken Bow passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at Pleasant Hill. She was born on February 10, 1938, at Pollard, the daughter of Marshall and Gladestine Storey. Wilda was raised in the Pleasant Hill Community and graduated from Haworth High School. She spent 25 years in Owasso, OK where she worked as a secretary for Owasso Public Schools. Spending time with her children was a priority for Wilda. She was a great mom and never missed a moment when her children were playing ballgames or at track meets. She was always the one behind the camera. On April 6, 2006 she married Sinaklin Forbit at Broken Bow, OK. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Storey; brother, Jimmie Allen Storey; grandparents, Lena and Andrew Fuller and Maggie Elizabeth and John William Storey. Wilda is survived by her husband, Sinaklin Forbit of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Jennifer Roberson of Owasso, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Jim Horton of Weatherford, TX, Connie and Spencer Davis of Pine Bluff, AR and Tonya and Chris Chandler of Oklahoma City; mother, Gladestine Storey of the Pleasant Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Lynda Storey of the Pleasant Hill. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren: Rachel, Rebekah, Jonathan, Andrew and Jeremy Horton; Malachi, Josiah and Jachin Davis; Kaiden and Jacob Roberson; Hannah, Micah and Baby Chandler; step-children, Howard Ray Forbit of Broken Bow, Charles Forbit and James Forbit both of Dallas, DeAnna Castle of Broken Bow, Audra Forbit of Dallas, Kristi Martinez of Broken Bow; 9 step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
