Obituary of Wayne Brown

Wayne Brown, age 50, longtime resident of Idabel passed away Sunday, May 18, 2009 in Sandersville, Georgia. He was born on May 15, 1959 in Idabel. Wayne was supervisor of the Sanitation Department for the City of Idabel for 23 years and served as a volunteer for the Idabel Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan. Wayne loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Altus Lewis. Wayne is survived by his mother, Wanda Lewis of Idabel; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Clifton Beal of New Boston, Texas and Tamara and Billy Dorries of the Holly Creek Community; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Chanel Stout of Shreveport; grandchildren, Madison Beal, Trevor Layne Beal, Katlyn Dorries, and Dylan Alan Dorries; his fiancé, Annie Hartley of Sandersville, Georgia; brothers and sister-in-law, Roy and Karen Brown, and Virgil Lewis all of Idabel; sisters, Wanda Burke of Idabel and Eva Lewis of Baton Rouge; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
