Obituary of J.R. McCullough

J.R. McCullough, 77 of Idabel, passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 at Paris, Texas. He was born September 7, 1931 at Ardmore, Oklahoma, the son of Rufus and May Harmon McCullough. A lifetime resident of McCurtain County, J.R. grew up in the Forest Grove Community. He spent his life as a farmer. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1951 where he served as a Seaman Recruit during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and May McCullough. J.R. is survived by his friends and neighbors of the Rouleau House and numerous other friends and caretakers.
