Obituary of Gary Howard

Gary Howard, 61, of Idabel, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born January 22, 1945 at Mt. Pleasant, Texas, the son of Ned and Nell Howard. Gary worked in the family business with H & S Contractors of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, sports and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Ned Howard. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Wanda Howard, of the home; mother, Nell Howard of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kristin Howard of Bogata, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mark Spicer of Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Colby, Keith, Morgan, Cody, Jacob, Colton, Mason, Jaron, Sissy, Skylar, Peyton, Kayla, and Braydn; special step-children, Melissa and Bruce Leffel, Vanessa Taylor, Amy and Tony Ward, Eric Williston and Matthew Williston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and JoAnn Howard of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Doyle and Jackie Howard of Gilmer, Texas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
