Obituary of Mickie Turnage

Mickie “Ozzy” Turnage, 35 of Rufe, passed away at Friday, March 27, 2009. He was born September 11, 1973 at Texarkana, TX, the son of Roger Turnage and Sandra Herrin Turnage. A jack of all trades, Mickie enjoyed carpentry work and logging, hunting, fishing and music. Mickie was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Dylan Turnage; grandparents, J.C. and Dorothy Herrin and Elbert Turnage. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Sandie Herrin Turnage of Rufe; father and step-mother, Roger and Sheila Turnage of Idabel; daughter, Alayna Jill Turnage of Haworth; brothers, Michael Turnage of Wyoming and Derek VanZant of Idabel; sister, Shawna VanZandt of Idabel; grandmother, Marie Melhorn of Idabel; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
