Obituary of Mildred Caldwell

Mildred Caldwell, age 90, of Idabel, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Idabel. She was born April 6, 1918 in the Goodwater Community, the daughter of Joseph and Emma Woodrum Simpson. Mildred was a homemaker, and worked for Idabel Coca Cola Bottling for over 20 years. She had a deep appreciation for various kinds of art work. Mildred was a member of the By-Pass Church of Christ and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus Caldwell; brothers, Calvert Simpson Sr. and Lem Simpson; and a sister, Allene Lanphear. Mildred is survived by her nephews, Calvert Simpson Jr. of Texarkana and Carl Simpson of Bartlesville; numerous other relatives, and a host of friends.
