Obituary of Rendi Franklin

Rendi Franklin, 29, of Idabel, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Texarkana. She was born April 30, 1979 in Talihina. Rendi was 1998 graduate of Idabel High School. She enjoyed fishing, watching the Food Network, and was an avid OU Sooner’s fan. Rendi loved listening to gospel music and most of all spending time with her family. She was affiliated with the Bokchito Methodist Church and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Tobias and Rosa Williston; cousin, Kevin Raymond; step-brother, Anthony Ishcomer; and an aunt, Teresa Colbert. Rendi is survived by her parents, Valerie Franklin and Darrrell Ishcomer of the home; her father, Franklin Jefferson of Broken Bow; brothers, Thomas Jefferson of Idabel, Zachary Jefferson and Kirstin of DeQueen; sister, Bobbie and Jeremy Jackman of Idabel; nieces, Sage and Sadie Jackman, and Chelsea Jefferson; a nephew, Aaden Jackman; grandparents, Benjamin and Virginia Franklin, and Mary Jefferson; aunts, Thelma Jessie, Nawatha and Billy Baker, Inese and Shawn Mitchell, Tracie and Barry Tonihka, Marietha and Larry Bond, Wahneeta and Johnny Raymond, Neomi Franklin, Gayle Obe; uncles, Brent Franklin, Ben Franklin Jr., and Brian and Donna Franklin; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
