Obituary of Richard Hunnicutt

Richard Hunnicutt, 69, of Idabel, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008. He was born March 7, 1939 in Corona, California, the son of Sid and Dorothy Chambers Hunnicutt. Richard was very active in helping his father with the family farming operation. He enjoyed painting and was a very talented artist. Richard had lived most of his life in McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Hunnicutt and Ricky Hunnicutt. Richard is survived by his wife, Neta Anderson Hunnicutt of Idabel; his parents Sid and Dorothy Hunnicutt of the Pollard Community; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Dale Hunnicutt Jr. and Gwen of Vulcan, Missouri, and Marty Anderson of Haworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie Jean Montgomery and Terry of Pevely, Missouri, Karen Armstrong and Bobby of Dallas, Lisa Miller of Houston, and Angela Fingleman and Joey of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Sandie Hunnicutt of Irvine, California; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jim Cash of the Pollard Community; 20 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
