Obituary of Terry Ann Bastible Sharp

Terry Ann Bastible Sharp, 52, of Valliant passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Idabel. She was born September 24, 1956 in Idabel, the daughter of Willie “Dub” Bastible and Rosemary Jamerson Bastible. Terry married Johnny Sharp on February 14, 1990 in DeQueen, Arkansas. Terry was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked several years for Dr. Jones and Dr. Zimmer in Valliant. She was currently working at Hugo Health and Rehab. Terry enjoyed fishing, reading and family get togethers. She was a member of the Valliant Church of God and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. Terry was very dedicated to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Lula Jamerson; her paternal grandparents, Nease and Willie Bastible; and a nephew, Alex Smith. Terry is survived by her husband, Johnny Sharp of Valliant; her parents, Dub and Rosemary Bastible of Garvin; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sonya Freeman of Avery, Texas; a daughter, Jessi Rhea Sharp of Valliant; a step-daughter, Jenny Smith of China Grove, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Smith, John Smith, Trinity Smith, and Rhalynn Freeman; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Terri Bastible of Garvin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jayne and Gary Walkup, Janet Smith, and LuAnna and Nyles Strickland all of Garvin; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
