Obituary of George Haskell Moon

George Haskell Moon, 65, of the Cisco Comunity, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Idabel. He was born November 5, 1943 at Idabel, the son of Cecil and Cassie Wright Moon. Haskell worked as a mechanic, pipeliner, truck driver, and enjoyed his work very much. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Haskell was affiliated with the Forest Hill Baptist Church, and was a resident of McCurtain County for the past 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Haskell is survived by his wife, Shirley Y. Moon of the home; son and daughter-in-law, George Haskell “Bubba” Moon Jr. and Tonya of Bayfield, Colorado; daughter, Melissa K. Moon of Idabel; grandchildren, Dylan Scott Moon and Dusty Shane Moon both of Clarksville, TX; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Charlie Rhame of Lufkin, Texas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
