Obituary of Anna Johnson

Anna Mae Johnson, 65, of Idabel, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Idabel. She was born August 2, 1941 at Dekalb, TX, the daughter of Amanda and Alan Hilton. On July 3, 1974 she married Sam Edgar Johnson at Idabel. Anna was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Troy Aikman was her favorite. She loved Nascar racing, especially Dale Earnhart, Jr. She collected cat trinkets, enjoyed reading romance novels and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sam Johnson, 3 sons, Earl Wayne Presley, Billy Wheeler, Earney Vinzant, sister, Delores Penny, two brothers, Bobby and Jerry Wheeler. Anna is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Donna Wheeler of Richardson, MS, Andy and Paula Vinzant of Jackson, MS and Sammy, Sandy Johnson of Broken Bow, OK; 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Tommy Cooke of Idabel, Wanda and Doyle Hughes of Asher, OK, Lynn and Dennis Lord of Franklin, TN, Liz and Jerry Donaldson of Richardson, MS, Donna and Kerry Richardson of Idabel, OK; 3 brothers, John Paul Wheeler of Dekalb, TX, James Henry Wheeler of Texarkana, TX, Phillip Foster of Idabel, OK; 2 sisters, Norma Hilton of Haworth, OK, Margie Pate of New Boston, TX; 22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
