Obituary of Hazel Harmon

Hazel Harmon, 95, lifetime resident of Idabel passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Idabel. She was born August 4, 1913 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas the daughter of Dillard and Ossie Martin Lindsey. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and going to the Nutrition Center and playing pitch and dominoes. Hazel was a member of the Lynn Lane Church of Christ. Hazel dedicated her life to being a good mother, and grandmother. She raised ten children and helped to raise her brothers and sisters after her mother died. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Harmon; a son, James Dillard “Rob” Harmon; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.. Hazel leaves to cherish her memory her daughters and sons-in-law, Pat Willingham of Idabel, Glynda and Cooper Kizzia of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Jean and Leon Green of Idabel, Kay and Roy Beason of Nashville, Arkansas, Diana and Ronald Haltom of Broken Bow, Debbie and Richard Jarvis of Idabel, and Vicki and Stanley Shoults of Broken Bow; sons, Harvey Harmon and Keith Harmon both of Idabel; sisters and brother-in-law, Alene Greenwald, and Thelma and Ken Seattle all of St. Louis, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Ray and Sue Lindsey of Corinth, Mississippi; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
