Obituary of Tom Downum

Thomas Downum, 41 of Garvin, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Texarkana, TX. He was born February 18, 1967 at Las Banos, California, the son of Frances and Jerlene Andrews Downum. Tom came to Oklahoma from California in 1991. He met Shalisa Williston and the two were married May 17, 2002 at DeQueen, AR. He was a truck driver, a mechanic and enjoyed being around his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frances Downum and grandfather, Marvin Andrews. Tom is survived by his wife, Shalisa Downum of the home; sons, Mark and Brad Downum both of Garvin; daughter, Shauna Downum of California; mother and step-father, Jerlene and William Clark of Garvin; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and a host of friends who all love and miss him greatly.
