Obituary of James Morgan

James Lester Morgan, 68, of Foreman, AR, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 at Ashdown, AR. He was born February 7, 1940 at Winthrop, AR, the son of William and Susie Grider Morgan. James was a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He loved working in his garden that he planted each year. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He was a jack of all trades. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ and loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. James was a lifetime resident of Little River County. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Wesley Morgan; granddaughter, Yvette Sullivan; twin brother, Chester Morgan. James is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Lora Brown of Foreman, AR, Al and Karen Austin and Ricky and Angie Austin all of Winthrop, AR; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Van Gorman of Texarkana, TX, Tammy and Michael Tallant of Foreman, AR, Tonya and Ricky Fawcett of Winthrop, AR, Terssa and David Finch of Clarksville, TX, Dena and Jude Armstrong of New Orleans, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Martha Morgan of Rockwall, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nelda and Jerry Hess and Veta and Bill Bryan all of Wintrop, AR; grandchildren, Ricky Tallant, Skyler Tallant, Stacey Brown; numerous other grandchildren, great-granchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
