Obituary of Betty Roberson

Betty Lena Quiggins Roberson, of Idabel, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 in Idabel. She was born March 7, 1924 in Victory, Illinois, the daughter of William and Madge Quiggins. She married J. W. Roberson on January 23, 1961. Betty was a homemaker, excellent cook and enjoyed fishing with her husband and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steward Quiggins; and sisters, Beulah Weeks and Phyliss Abernathy. Betty is survived by her husband, J. W. Roberson of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Judy Wade of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Denise Wade of Durant, Oklahoma, Jeff Wade of Texarkana, Texas, and Scott Wade of Alabama; two great-grandsons, Blake and Levi of Durant, Oklahoma; along with many other relatives and dear friends.
