Obituary of Mary Ward

Mary Ruby Ward, 81, of Broken Bow, passed away May 21, 2008. She was born July 5, 1926 in DeKalb, TX the daughter of Ervie and Mae Stewart Foster. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed planting flowers, fishing and collecting crystal and lived most of her life in McCurtain County. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a step-son, Edward Dale Ward. Mary is survived by her husband, Coleman Ward of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Boyd and Diane Montgomery of Dangerfield, TX, step-son and daughter-in-law, Gary Joe and Leslie Ward of Smithville; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Underwood of Smithville, Linda and Harold Cooper of Hughes Springs, TX; sister, Shirley Mashburn of Dallas, TX; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
