Obituary of Joye Vaughn

Joye Ann Vaughn, 66 of Broken Bow, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Broken Bow. She was born July 10, 1941 at Wright City to Adron and Loretta Finny Downs. Joye was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County and a member of the Idabel Freewill Baptist Church. Joye enjoyed bowling and going to church and worked at the Broken Bow Nursing Home for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Reece Vaughn; her Father, Adron Downs; and her brother Johnny Downs. Joye is survived by her mother, Loretta Downs; sons and daughters-in law, Jimmy Vaughn of Broken Bow and Joe and Jessica Vaughn, of Roseburg, OR; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Vaughn of Broken Bow; six grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
