Obituary of Candido Ledesma

Candido Ledesma passed away Saturday morning, April 19, 2008. He was born on September 3, 1914 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Eligio and Theresa Ledesma. On October 18, 1953 he married Josephine Perez in Mississippi. Candido was a crop farmer and enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking pork skins and barbequing. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 50 years Josephine Ledesma in 2004; adopted son, Manuel Perez and all his brothers and sisters. Candido leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Cleto “Jimmy” Ledesma of Idabel and Tony Perez of Haworth; daughters, Mary Perez of Idabel, Janie Oglesby of Haworth, Maria Conchas of California and Nellie Sandoval of California; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
