Obituary of Monica Coffman

Monica Coffman, age 43, of Idabel passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Idabel. She was born July 25, 1967 in at Hugo, OK. Monica attended schools in Idabel and was a 1985 graduate of Idabel High School. She enjoyed listening to music, swimming with friends and deer hunting with her father and his friends. Monica was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Idabel and was a lifetime resident of the Idabel area. Monica was a sincere and loving person who accepted people for the way they were and did not judge them. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jesse Hall; and paternal grandparents, Vechel and Gerri Coffman. Monica leaves to celebrate her life, her father, Jim Coffman of Idabel; mother and step-father, Sharon and James Henry Martin of Idabel; maternal grandmother, Virginia Hall of Idabel; special friend, Nola Williams of Idabel; step-sisters, Sonya Lawler, Ladanna Raley and Nancy Hedrick; step-brothers, Ricky Martin, Jerry Don Martin and James Martin Jr.; uncles and aunts, Weldon and Carolyn Hall of Sobol, OK and John and Ann Coffman of Ridgeway, CO; cousins, Amy Tiller of San Francisco, CA, Jessica Smith of Atoka, OK, and Crystal Gossett of Caney, OK; special friends, Joe Bill Prim, Helen Coffman and Melinda Roberts all of Idabel; numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Idabel with Bro. Jerry Jeffcoat officiating. Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery.
