Obituary of Dorothy Allen

Dorothy Allen, 90, formerly of Broken Bow, passed away February 9, 2008 at Liberty, Texas. She was born January 12, 1918 in DeQueen, AR to Karl and Bertha Hughes Wright. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Broken Bow and had lived in Broken Bow until about 3 years ago. Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and canning up until a few years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dallas Allen; son, Kenny Allen; brothers, Wayne Wright, Raymond Wright, Norman Wright, Eddie Wright; sister, Imogene Wright. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Tommy Allen of Dayton, TX, Dallas Glen Allen of Redfield, AR; sister, Ruby Pickett of Texarkana; grandchildren, Todd Allen, Glen David Allen, Jerry Allen; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
