Obituary of Randy Smith

Randy Smith, 38, of the Forest Grove Community, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008. He was born September 4, 1969 in Tulsa. He married Flo Vesseni on February 19, 2004 in DeQueen, Arkansas. Randy was a heavy equipment operator and pipe fitter. He was an avid outdoorsman, and love to hunt, fish, and camp. Randy was a member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dean and Nita Foster; paternal grandfather, Harlen Smith; a sister-in-law, Donna Vesseni Black Buzan. Randy is survived by his wife, Flo Smith of the Forest Grove Community; his son, Joshua Ryan Smith of the Forest Grove Community; his mother and step-father, Marigene and Ben Scarborough of Yantis, Texas; his father, James Smith of Valliant; paternal grandmother, Martha Smith; brothers and sister-in-law, Joel and Mellisa Smith of Sulphur Springs, Matthew Ian Smith, and Micah Emery Smith; sisters, Kaelyn Sharee Smith, and Emily Racheal Smith; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Dolores Vesseni of Millerton; uncles and spouses, Bill and Martha Ausmus of the Forest Grove Community, and Burk and Pam Foster of Saginaw, Michigan; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jeff and Charity Vesseni of Valliant; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
