Obituary of Clisty Turnage

Clisty Ann Turnage, 51, of Idabel, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at her home. She was born January 15, 1957 at Idabel the daughter of Ben and Hazel Brown Williston. She was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County and was a member of the Bokchito United Methodist Church. On November 28, 1975 she married Phillip Turnage at Idabel, OK. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing and listening to music. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Williston. Clisty is survived by her husband, Phillip Turnage of the home; son, Phil Rhea Turnage of Idabel; daughters, Cynthia Tunnell of Broken Bow, Tonya Turnage of Idabel, Angelica Clisty Turnage and Brittany Ann Turnage of the home; parents, Ben and Hazel Brown; brothers, Ronald Williston, Don Williston and Dane Williston all of Idabel; sister, Caroline Sue Jefferson of Idabel, 6 grandchildren, Chayton Eyota Turnage, Coley Tunnell, John Tunnell, Tonie Elizabeth Williams, Lacey Armstrong, Jackson Armstrong; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Bro. Dale Mitchell will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Canfield Cemetery.
