Obituary of Ethel Coffey

Ethel Coffey, 77 of Garvin, OK, passed away January 17, 2008 at Paris, TX. She was born January 12, 1931 the daughter of Tom and Innie Billingsley Woods. Ethel was a homemaker and worked at the Forest Grove School Cafeteria for many years where the students loved her dearly. She enjoyed cooking for her family and adored her cat, “Baby”. Ethel was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Garvin Church of Christ. She was a lifetime resident of the Garvin area. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Coffey in 1994, sisters, Minnie Kelley, Annie Chambers, Fannie Lou Magar, and Doris Cobb; and a brother, Bill Woods. Ethel is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Lynn Monk of Garvin, Joy and Harold Cornelison of Durant; grandchildren, Trina Wiley and husband Tommy of Oologah, Jaclyn Cornelison of Dallas, and Hali Cornelison of Weatherford, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
