Obituary of Werdna Tutt

Werdna Tutt, 84, of Idabel, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Idabel. She was born December 27, 1923 in Tom, the daughter of Clarvel and Nannie Park Martin. Werdna operated the Rambler Restaurant in Idabel for many years and was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed skating and water skiing. Werdna was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Idabel and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Jolly Hunkapiller, and Joe Tutt. Werdna is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Martha Hunkapiller; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jackie Maroney of Wright City, and Karan and Sherman Plunk of Idabel; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Sharon Martin of Idabel; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
