Obituary of Mary Bunn

Mary Bunn, 85, of the Holly Creek community, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Oklahoma City. She was born October 26, 1922 at Holly Creek, the daughter of F.L. McHargue and Mary Bessie Hughes. She married Milford T. Bunn in Broken Bow, in 1939. Mary was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Glover Assembly of God Church and had lived in the county all her life. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, quilting and especially enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Johnny McHargue and Roy McHargue; sister, Dorothy Johnson; three grandsons, William Parker, J.W. Cook and James Troy Cook; granddaughter, Meredith Pratt. Mary is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James “Buddy” Bunn, and Raymond “Billy” and Vickie Bunn, all of Holly Creek and Mitchell “Micky” and Sherri Bunn of Wright City; two daughters, Betty Morris of Holly Creek and Ruth Cunningham of Broken Bow; brother, Jesse McHargue of Holly Creek; 15 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
