Obituary of Daniel Walker

Daniel Walker, 29, born April 26, 1978 to Sharon Cody and Lonnie Walker at Ft. Worth, TX, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2007 at Idabel. He was a resident of McCurtain County since 1985. Fishing and hunting were favorite hobbies of Daniel’s, along with being with his family and friends. His son and other children lit up his life. He was a collector of coins and arrowheads. Everything was a treasure to him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; father, Lonnie Walker; and uncle, Ronnie Cody. Daniel is survived by his mother and step-father, Sharon and Calvin “Bear” Hobbs of Idabel; son, Dylan Thomas Walker of Garvin; sister, Candice Bryant of Idabel; step-sister, Rebecka Hobbs of Idabel; fiancé, Daphne Baird of Idabel; maternal grandmother, Essie Cody of Hugo, OK; maternal grandfather, Clarence Cody of Tulsa, OK; niece, Jonah Bryant of Hugo, OK; aunts, Pam Cody of Millerton, Janice Byassee of Swink, Vicki Taft of Arlington, TX; numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.
