Obituary of Christine Pearce

Christine Pearce, 79, of Idabel passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Tyler, Texas. She was born July 17, 1928 in Detroit, Texas the daughter of Mack and Alma Presley Whitley. Christine was a clerk at Piggly Wiggly for many years and she made many friends during this time. She enjoyed sewing, and loved to travel and see new places. Christine was an active member of the First Baptist Church, where she loved her Sunday School Class. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Darrell Pearce; a son, Darrell Mack Pearce; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine Pruitt, Marie and Billy Jack Townes, and H.C. Flanagan. Christine leaves to cherish her memory her daughters and son-in-law, Marsha Hahn, and Nancy and Keith Walker all of Idabel; a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Judy Pearce of Ada; grandchildren and spouses, Darrell Wayne Pearce of Mt. Vernon, Kristal and Hal Hawes of Georgetown, Texas, Keitha and Bobby Elmore of Mt. Pleasant, Darren Scott and Amy Pearce of Idabel, Jennifer and Kevin Wilkerson of Idabel, Tracy and Matt Feezel of Bartlesville, Mellanie and Darren Evans of Tulsa, Jim and Holly Brown, Rikki Pearce, and Robin Pearce all of Ada; sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie Flanagan of Clarksville, Texas, and Sue and Benny Roseberry of Avery, Texas; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
