Obituary of Frank Pogue

Frank Pogue, age 56 of the Shinewell Community, OK passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Seminole, OK. He was born on March 10, 1963 in Idabel, OK, the son of R.F. Pogue and Lucille McGough Pogue. Frank was a 1981 graduate of Haworth High School.  

Frank owned and operated the Sooner Gas Station in Idabel for 13 years. He worked in pest control for 11 years and also several years in construction. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his 4-wheeler. 

He was preceded in death by his father, R.F. Pogue; brothers, Buck Pogue and Howard Pogue; and a special nephew, Richie Segraves..

Frank is survived by his mother, Lucille Pogue of the Goodwater Community, OK; his wife, Sandy Pogue of the Shinewell Community, OK; a son, Matthew Pogue of the Shinewell Community, OK; brother, Dick Pogue and wife, Shirley of the Goodwater Community, OK; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Jan Guffey of the Shinewell Community, OK; a host of  other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Philadelphia Cemetery in the Goodwater Community, OK with Bro. Mark Davidson and Victor Balagbagan officiating.
