Obituary of James V. Kegley, Jr.
James (Jim) Virgle Kegley, Jr. of Tom, Oklahoma, passed away on August 21, 2019 at the age of 64 in his home. He was born on August 8, 1955 in Hearne, Texas to James Virgle Kegley, Sr. and Wanda Ruth (Davis) Kegley.
James loved fishing and hunting. He went to College in Oklahoma State University and came back to work in sales and accounting. He was a Cadillac Master Manager at McKay’s in Idabel from the 80’s to 1999.
He lived in Tom, Oklahoma most of his life and was a Baptist. He loved people and would try to do anything for them.
James was preceded in death by his father, James Virgle Kegley, Sr. and his mother, Wanda Ruth Kegley
He is survived by his 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Virginia Ruth (Kegley) Patton and husband John Michael Patton of Texarkana, Texas and Rhonda Sue (Kegley) Pogue and husband James Melvin Pogue of Idabel, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by 2 nephews and 2 nieces, Richard Vincent Beasley and wife Shelia Beasley of Conroe, Texas; Jennifer Ashley (Patton) Stafford and husband Jason Stafford of Texarkana, Texas; Brian Ray Whisenhunt and wife Becki Whisenhunt of Texarkana, Texas and Miranda Sue (Pogue) Reese and husband, Jerad Reese of Idabel, Oklahoma plus numerous grandnieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held at a later date at the Tom Baptist Church.
