Obituary of Gary Adrian Kessler

Gary Adrian Kessler, age 78, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his home in Broken Bow, Ok. He was born September 9,1940 in Oklahoma City, Ok, the son of William Raymond Kessler and Alma Jean Dorbrinski Kessler.

 

Gary was a truck driver for Tysons for 10 years and he drove log trucks for many years until he wasn’t able to. He was a log cutter in his earlier years. Gary loved to plant flowers especially roses and he was also a Elvis Presley fan and collector. Gary married Myra Cooper on November 27,1958 in Locksburg, New Mexico. They raised four children together.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Alma Jean Kessler; Aunt Dorothy Kramer; daughter-in- law Debra “Tigger” Kessler; great-granddaughter Brooklyn Cupit; great-grandson Kingston Thompson. And a good friend Floyd Watts.

 

Gary is survived by his wife, Myra Kessler of the home. His two daughters; Judy Shelton and Roger of Haworth,Ok; Linda Kessler and Dean of Idabel, Ok. His two sons Steve Kessler of Idabel, OK; Michael Kessler of the home, Sister-in-law Carolyn and David Pettit of DeQueen, AR, Brother-in-law Lewis Cooper of Haworth, OK, and his dog Abby that he loved just like a child. Grandchildren; Shawna Bridges, Steven Kessler, Josh Talley, Matthew Kessler, Samantha Chesney, Alyssa Kessler, Raymond Kessler. Great-grandchildren; Madison, Macey and Raegen Cupit. Kenzie Thies, Kloey Tunnell , Westin, Roper And Audrey Chesney, Carter Vanfleet, Brier, Clayton, Aubrey, Zachery Kessler, Bryleigh and Ryleigh, Lucas and Keifer Talley and Ryder Kessler. Two very good friends Kelly Adams and Steve Gibbs.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday August 5, 2019 at Cerrogordo Cemetery in Winthrop, AR with Bro. Billy “Cy” Davis officiating.
