Obituary of Julia Tims

Julia Stella Tims came into this world December 24, 1911, born to James Brown and Vincy Davis Tims. She went to be with the Lord October 23, 2007 at the age of 95 years, 10 months. She was married to Isaac Wilson, Sr. in 1933. Together they had 10 children but were divorced in 1957. Julia was of the Methodist faith for the bigger part of her life but converted to the Baptist faith in her later years. She was truly devoted to her church and continued to going to church until she wasn’t physically able. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edgar Tims and James Tims; sisters, Dora and an infant sister, Dela; half-brother, Rufus Tims; half-sister, Martha Jacob; step-daughters, Mary Jane Simas and Annia May Wilson; step-son, known as Big Jr.; sons, R.B. Wilson, Lester Ray Wilson and Charlie Wilson. Julia’s survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Leroy Wilson of Smithville, OK, Richard Wilson of Smithville, OK, Isaac Wilson Jr. of New Caney, TX, Robert and Paulette Wilson of Tahlequah, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Dora Wilson of Haskell, OK, Ruby and Dale Smith of Boynton, OK, Opal and Eugene Ludlow of Smithville, OK; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, some great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
