Obituary of Syble I. Shaw

            Syble Shaw, age 74 passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Idabel, OK. She was born on September 8, 1944 in McAlester, OK, the daughter of Bradley Mowery and Florence Dugan Mowery. 

            Syble worked as an administrative assistant with the OK Dept. of Human Services for many years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Idabel and a lifelong resident of McCurtain County.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Houston; and a brother, Joe Mowery.

            Syble is survived by her husband Allen Shaw of the home; as well as many friends and former co-workers.

            Graveside funeral services were held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK with Rev. Hershel Rogers and Rev. Mark Polson officiating.
