Obituary of Carson Burnett

          Carson Burnett, age 72 passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born on April 23, 1947 in Paris, TX, the son of Lyda Arnold "L.A." Burnett and Ruby Montgomery Burnett. Carson was a 1965 graduate of Idabel Gray High School and received his bachelor's degree from East Central University where he played on the Golf Team. 

          Carson worked as a social worker with the Oklahoma Dept. of Human Services for over 15 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and water skiing.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, David A Burnett.

          Carson is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John David Burnett and Henrietta of Idabel, OK; sister, Jeanne Ruth Burnett Vave of Honolulu, HI;  niece, Jamie Dawn Heard and Corbin of Broken Arrow, OK; nephew, Burnett Efitu Vave of Honolulu, HI; his aunt, Nell Altha Hessemer of Highlands, NC; 3 great-nephews, several cousins and many friends.
